In December 2018 was successfully completed “YouthSource Next” Project implemented by the MCF MicroInvest in Sogd region with the support of the US Embassy in Tajikistan, which gave a lot of joyful impressions, useful knowledge, creative ideas and top skills of entrepreneurship and outsourcing for young people aged 18 to 30 years. Project goal: Acquaintance and training of youth on “Outsource” skills - a modern type of entrepreneurship with the aim of providing professional online services for implementing projects on entrepreneurship in Tajikistan and abroad, which contributes to the promotion and implementation of the 17 SDGs until 2030.
The following free trainings were provided to the project participants from experienced trainers from October to December, 2018:
- Digital Marketing
- Project Management
- IT services and web design
- Personal development and professional growth
- Effective communication with customers
- English for business purposes and career growth
- Skills of public speaking, effective presentation and pitching.
Also during the project, participants learned to use online resources and tools to improve their employment skills and better position their services in local and international online markets. During the project mentorship sessions and meetings with the participation of successful businessmen and experts from Kenya, Austria, the Russian Federation and the USA were organized for the participants. At the end of the project, active participants were awarded certificates and given the internship opportunity at the IT company doodle.tj in Khujand.
Successful stories of our project: Two project participants became the finalists of the “Business Eurasia” project in December 2018, which gathered more than 300 young participants from all over Tajikistan and won the prize fund to promote their business idea. One of the project participants also became a finalist of the internship program for students Erasmus + in Spain. The remaining participants acquired the necessary skills to open and grow their business. According to the majority of participants, “participation in the project gave them more incentive, inspiration and confidence than within 4 years of study at the university.”.
